Mass De-worming and vaccination
De-worming programme is carried out to eradicate worms in dairy animals. The purpose is to improve production and animal health of dairy animals. It also help in reducing infertility problem De-worming medicines are provided on 50 % subsidized rates. Under these mass de-worming programme 42000 animals covered in 2009-2010

	FMD VACCINATION

Prevention is beater than cure; animals are vaccinated against Foot & Mouth Disease and HS+BQ Diseases. In 2009-2010 total 79446 animals are vaccinated against Foot & mouth disease

Farmers Awareness programmes

Farmer’s awareness programmes are regularly carried out on demand of milk producers at village level where farmers are groomed in respect of animal breeding Feeding, management & animal health of dairy animals.
